Dear Members and Friends of Mozuud,
These last few days I have been vacillating as regards the kind of Jewish New Year’s message I should send out to our many Jewish friends. Being Jewish myself, I have, like many of you, received many New Year wishes from many organizations who have been very busy and mostly doing good things this last year. And of course, who wouldn’t want to have a healthy, happy and sweet year in 5782!
But there is more to say and wish for – and work for – on so many different fronts in our society. Jew hatred is crawling out from under the rocks where it hibernated for so long, the propaganda campaign against Israel has gained such strength that Hamas is now seen as the victim even when without provocation it fires 3000 rockets at Israel’s civilian population, and Islamist propaganda is knowingly and purposely conflating Jews and Israel to reduce support for Israel from the Jewish Diaspora which it now also feels free to terrorize. Meanwhile, the pandemic is justifying cancel culture for anyone who even intelligently disagrees with Drs. Fauci and Tam; and the politicians, even our Conservative politicians, are delighted to have a new cudgel to strike down dissident voices.
In addition, the retreat from Afghanistan by the world’s greatest power in human history must raise the question – are American political and military leaders the stupidest humans ever to walk the planet, or was the debacle perhaps planned that way by those who want to bring America down? While it’s cognitively dissonant to think that there are Americans who want to destroy America, it’s not impossible. There seem to be Israelis who are similarly bent on destroying Israel – led by a major Israeli newspaper. In Canada our newspapers have been bought off with $60 million of “grants” from the Trudeau gov’t. Why be surprised!
Meanwhile, the universities have been taken over by “Critical race theory”; “Intersectionality” is instructing our young people that they should not be judged by the quality of their character, but by how many minorities they “intersect” with or belong to; “equality of opportunity” is no longer adequate for the new socialist wannabees – it is “equity of outcome” that we are told now needs to be the goal. Western governments are tripping over themselves to bring in “undocumented immigrants”, once referred to as “illegal aliens”, but no more! Of course, who will these undocumented immigrants vote for? You only get one guess!
So that is where we find ourselves. There is after all work to do in 5782!
From all of us at The Mozuud Freedom Foundation, we do wish you and your loved ones health, happiness and a sweet year! We also wish you strength to fight the scourge of lies, half-truths, and the attacks on our freedoms, from within and without.
As they say in Hebrew, Chazak ve’ematz!
And here are Abbott & Costello to guide you through the Covid crisis!
Shana Tova u’Metukah!
ABBOTT AND COSTELLO’S ‘WHO’S BEEN VACCINATED?’🤣🤣
Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’
Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’
Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’
Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’
Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’
Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’
Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’
Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’
Lou: ‘So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’
Bud: ‘Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’
Lou: ‘I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick.'
Lou: ‘And the guy you let in IS sick.’
Bud: ‘That’s right.’
Lou: ‘And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’
Lou: ‘So why can’t I go in again?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’
Bud: ‘I’m just telling you how it is.’
Lou: ‘Nevermind. I’ll just put on my mask.’
Bud: ‘That’s fine.’
Lou: ‘Now I can go in?’
Bud: ‘Absolutely not?’
Lou: ‘But I have a mask!’
Bud: ‘Doesn’t matter.’
Lou: ‘I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’
Bud: ‘I know.’
Lou: 'So why can’t I come in here today with a mask? ….If you say ‘because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’
Bud: ‘Take it easy buddy.’
Lou: ‘So the mask is no good anymore.’
Bud: ‘No, it’s still good.’
Lou: ‘But I can’t come in?’
Lou: ‘Why not?’
Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’
Lou: ‘But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’
Lou: ‘But they’re all vaccinated.’
Bud: ‘Yes, but they can still get sick.’
Lou: ‘But I’m not sick!!’
Bud: ‘You can still get them sick.’
Lou: ‘ So then masks don’t work!’
Bud: ‘Masks work quite well.’
Lou: ‘So how in the heck can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’
Bud: ‘Third base.'
I would like to recommend an upcoming CAEF webinar this Thursday August 12, which I think you will find outstanding and worthwhile, featuring two brilliant advocates for truth and freedom.
The Imam Tawhidi knows the inner workings of the Muslim Brotherhood and the Iranian mission for Jihad. Dr. Mordecai Kedar, a professor at Bar Ilan University is one of leading experts on the Arab propaganda war against Israel and how the “Palestinian” Arab viewpoint is being disseminated. You will find them both extremely informative and enlightening.
I hope you will be able to attend. You won’t be disappointed!
Leadership is Everything! Please share! The Woke Generation is in need of waking!
When I was growing up in Toronto, kids used to chant “Sticks and stones can break my bones but names can never hurt me”. When you grow up, however, even in a free society like Canada, your free speech may depend on whether you have the funds to fend off a lawsuit. When you speak to power, even more so! Shutting someone down this way can be referred to as “Lawfare” – using an intimidating and strategic lawsuit to shut down discussion – in other words, “warfare” by other means.Read more
As you have already heard, The Mozuud Freedom Foundation is now a formally registered 3rd Party as per Elections Canada and will be supporting some special candidates like Dr. Salim Mansur in the upcoming October election. I was interviewed last week by Paul Lungren of the Canadian Jewish News. You will find below
While I would not call Mozuud “right wing” as does the title of the article – I see us as rather centrist, myself – the rest of the article explains accurately what we hope to do in the Election and beyond. Let’s preserve Canada as a country where democracy thrives, where freedom of speech is recognized as the cornerstone of that democracy, where Canadian values are protected, where our borders mean something, where legal immigration is encouraged and illegal immigration is no longer government-facilitated, where antiSemitism is not allowed to masquerade with impunity as antiZionism, where all students again feel safe on our university campuses and where hate-filled rhetoric is not deemed acceptable just because it comes from the mouths of visible minorities.
If you would like to donate to support this effort, please feel free to donate on line. And be sure to vote in your riding for the candidate who best reflects your own views and positions!
Here’s hoping we elect a great new government in October! As they say: “A People gets the Government they Deserve!”!

During last weekend, another horrific terrorist attack was carried out in Israel by a Palestinian Arab terrorist. A car stopped and the driver opened fire at a group of civilians who were waiting at a bus stop. One of the victims, a 21-year-old married to a Canadian citizen, was pregnant at the time of the attack. She is now in hospital in critical condition, as is her baby who was born prematurely at 30 weeks.
Hamas has praised this as a “heroic attack” and said that this shows the “legitimacy of the resistance”.
In the wake of this tragedy, two questions should be asked by Canadians. First, why does Justin Trudeau always drag his feet to condemn terrorists who try to murder Jews? And will he condemn this attack on a Canadian and his pregant wife without being brow-beaten into it?
Second, will Canadians continue to financially reward terrorists like the one who committed this attack? Justin Trudeau seemed content to let Canadian foreign aid be used as a Palestinian Arab “martyrs fund”, when the reward was just for murdering Israelis.
The Martyrs' fund is a well-known aspect of the Palestinian Authority's platform, as it constitutes 7% of their annual budget, which is supplemented through foreign aid from Western nations like Canada. Canada also directly pays UNRWA, a sum which Trudeau increased from $20 million to $80 million this year; UNWRA, as I’m sure you have read, serves to educate the Palestinian Arabs in genocidal Jew-hatred and violent Jihad.
Will Trudeau and the Canadian Liberal Government now turn a blind eye, and let its foreign aid be used to sustain a terrorist who shot a Canadian and his pregnant wife? Or will they finally take a stand and say “Enough is enough!”
Last week during the assault on Israel from the Gaza Strip, and the subsequent pile on from the usual suspects in the media, our Social Media director, Daniel Bordman, wrote this article on modern antisemitism.
The article is a detailed examination of the so-called “anti-Zionism” in the mainstream media from a millennial’s perspective. It points out the bias of selective reporting on the Israeli-Arab conflict, and how it enables the classical antisemitic conspiracies to take on new forms.
